Trouble connecting your bank account using your bank portal
Gohelpme organizers can set up bank transfers by directly logging into their online bank portal or in case of any trouble, you can manually enter your bank details.
If your fundraiser is linked to our payment partner PayFast, follow these steps to manually enter your bank account information:- From your fundraiser dashboard, select “Set up transfers”
- Choose who will be receiving the funds. If it's "Your bank account", make sure your email is verified, and then choose "Get started"
- Select “Continue to PayFast”, which will bring you to our payment partner’s secure information portal
- Enter your details, once complete, you'll be prompted to enter your bank information
- Instead of selecting a bank to log into, choose the option to "Add your bank details manually instead"
Always double-check the information while entering it manually, because you need to enter the account numbers exactly shown within your banking portal.
