How to transfer funds to a business or organization account?
If you are fundraising for someone else, like an individual or an organization, you can add them as a beneficiary and include their bank accounts. Once they have access, they can also add their own bank accounts. Only the fundraiser and the beneficiary can set up their accounts. You will find further details about the process once you reach the bank account setup stage.
Select who’s receiving the donations:
- You have two options for creating an account: one is "yourself" and the other is "someone else."
- If you choose the "someone else" option, an email invitation will be sent to them. They will need to accept the invitation and either create an account or log in to an existing one. They will then be redirected to the bank details section where they can provide their information.
- If you know nothing about the decision maker, you need to select “Your Bank Account” from the “Transfers” tab. It is important to connect your personal bank account, then transfer to the organization outside of Gohelpme.
Add your organization, Decision-Maker, and bank details:
If you are unable to set up the accounts or having trouble with these sections, then you need to review our "troubleshooting tips"
Upload documents for verification:
In some cases, to ensure secure transfers, our payment processor may request additional information. You will receive an email titled "Important Message from Gohelpme" with details on what documents are needed. Until these documents are uploaded and verified, transfers will be on hold.
Use this form to submit the requested information.
