Business or organization account troubleshooting tips
This guide provides solutions to mainstream questions about setting up bank transfers to your business or organization’s bank account.
Trouble verifying business details?
The fundraiser title might be auto-populated, but ensure the "Legal Business Name" section accurately reflects your organization's official name. This should match the name on your government registration documents.
The organization has multiple names:
If the registration documents and the bank account show different names for the organization, enter your legal business name in the “Legal business name” field, and then enter the name on your bank statement in the “Doing business as” section.
Trouble uploading ID:
- The photo must be in color
- The ID must not be expired
- The photo must be clear and show all four corners of the document
- The file size must be at least 100 KB
- The file type must be a PDF, a JPG or JPEG
If you get an error when uploading your image, try the following:
- Crop the image to be closer without cutting off the corners
- Use a Chrome browser and try an incognito window
Need to update your transfer information?
Head back to the "Transfers" page within your Gohelpme account to make changes.
- Select “Bank transfers”
- Select your bank under the "Linked accounts" section, and you'll be brought to our payment partner's secure information portal.
