Four essential functions for your Gohelpme fundraiser
If you are getting started or have launched your campaign, then we are here to assist. If you wish complete success, you must follow these steps:
- Describe a compelling story in 1-3 paragraphs
- Share your fundraising campaign within your community on different platforms.
- Update the audience once a week
- Set up bank transfers
Create your Story:
It is important to involve people with you for your fundraising goal. Keep in mind that you can edit the information at any time during your fundraising venture.
Tell your story:
- Using attractive words and providing complete details about the purpose of your fundraising can help.
- Explain in your title and the initial paragraphs why you are asking for help and what benefits it will provide you. If a donor is not available for a longer time, they should be able to see the answers to the “what, who, where, when, and why”.
- Tell people how the money will be used. For instance, you can let everyone know that, "I will withdraw funds to my personal bank account, and they will be used instantly to pay for a rental car".
Use Captivating Images:
- Select a picture that grabs the attention of the donors and persuades them to lend support.
- If you put images of people then it appeals better than the objects or texts.
- Adding video or more images into your campaign might lead get you more support.
Set your goal:
- You have the option to change your goal anytime and it is suggested to start with a lower goal while telling your story that it may enhance later.
- If you wish to edit your goal, ensure that you post an update to let your donors know why you have modified it.
Share your Campaign:
- When you are done with creating and editing your content, commence by sharing it with others.
Connect with Closet Supporters:
- Send personalized emails, messages, and phone calls to your close friends, family, and others asking them to donate first and share the fundraiser on your behalf.
Connect with people on Social media:
- There is no doubt about it that social media is the best way to spread the word about your campaign. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok are great sources to start with. We suggest you post on every platform where you get an active account.
- Even if you do not have an account on social media, you can ask your friends to share the campaign on your behalf.
